By downloading or using SongCipher (the “app”), you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app. Contact: hello@songcipher.com.
You’re responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login secure. Provide accurate information and don’t impersonate others. You must be at least 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the app.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
The paraphrased clues in SongCipher are our original creative work. Song titles and artist names are used for identification only. Official lyrics are displayed through an embedded Genius web view and belong to their respective owners — we don’t store or claim rights to any lyrics. The app, its design, and its content are owned by SongCipher and protected by law; we grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for your own entertainment.
SongCipher is free to play and supported by ads. An optional “Remove Ads” premium purchase is handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play; their terms and refund policies apply. Ad-supported features may change over time.
The app is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Some jurisdictions don’t allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.
You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time (see Account & Data Deletion). We may suspend or end the service, in whole or part, with or without notice.
We may update these terms; continued use after changes means you accept them. We’ll revise the “Effective” date above.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
